Inspiration of the journal’s name:

The name of this journal comes from the famous mountains called “Taurus Mountains” which are composed of a combination of sequential mountains in the Mediterranean region of Turkey. It is well-known that “Montes Taurus” is also an irregularly nested and extremely complex region on the moon surface. The Montes Taurus were so-called after Taurus Mountains which lie down as parallel to Mediterranean sea.

Inspiration and meaning of the logo of the “Montes Taurus Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics (ISSN: 2687-4814)”:

Since Montes Taurus is the name of the mountains and a region on the moon, the moon at the top of the mountains symbolized in the journal’s logo.

On the other hand, the mountains where the moon raises symbolizes the Taurus mountains surrounding Turkey’s southern (Mediterranean region) like a castle.

The curves in the letters (especially the folds in the letters M, T, J, P and A) represent the horns of the mountain goats, the world’s most innocent and nature-defying animals living in the Taurus Mountains.

For this reason, our journal named as “Montes Taurus Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics” will unite all scientists in the world as the Taurus Mountains did and “keep serving humanity” forever without compromising its scientific line.
