Abstract

The extended beta-type 1 distribution has the probability density function proportional to , 0 < u < 1. In this exploratory article, the exact forms of Rényi and Shannon entropies for the extended beta-type 1 distribution are discussed. Furthermore, the Fisher information matrix of the above-mentioned distribution is pointed out systematically.
